Brownout Apps · Privacy
We keep as little about you as we can, we never sell it, and we never show it to advertisers. This page says exactly what we hold and why.
Brownout Apps is run by One World Organics Ltd.
The app sends us your code and an ID number for your television, made up by Android. That is how one code stays on one television. We don't get your name, your location or anything about what you watch.
Your provider's address, username and password are saved on your television only. The app talks to your provider directly. They never pass through us and we never see them.
Some parts of the home screen fetch information from free public services. They see your internet address, the same as any website you visit, but nothing else about you.
The app has no advertising and no tracking. If it ever crashes, the details are kept on your television and are never sent anywhere.
We only send you news about new apps if you ticked the box when you bought. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and one click takes you off the list for good. Your licence emails still reach you either way.
Messages you send through this website come to our inbox, so we can reply. We don't add you to any list because you wrote to us.
If you press Accept on the cookie bar, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It stores a few cookies in your browser for that. We have switched off Google's advertising features, so none of it is used to show you adverts.
If you press No thanks, nothing from Google is loaded at all. You can change your mind any time with the Cookies link at the bottom of every page.
We use a small number of companies to run the shop, and they only use your details to do that job:
We keep your order for as long as your licence lasts, which for Lifetime means for good. Without it we couldn't move your licence to a new television or send your code again.
Send us a message using the email address you bought with, and we will tell you everything we hold, correct it, or delete it. If we delete your order, we can no longer help with your licence, so we will check with you first.
